This cardi has taken me ages! I was trying to get it finished to go under the christmas tree but only managed to cast off last night.
It's a modified version of this pattern I found on Ravelry. I knitted a smaller one before Betty was born and scaled up the pattern to fit her now.
I also free-styled on the fairisle. It's knitted from Jamiesons of Shetland's Spindrift. The main colour is Leprchaun.
I always like to look at the reverse on fairisle knitting.
Next project... fairisle jumper for me!
This is such a lovely cardi and I also think the pose in photo one is spot on!! Great model attitude! Can't wait to see the grown up version.
